We tried: A look into Whamisa Nourishing Cream

We are totally in love with Whamisa Skincare products

so we thought we carry on with the reviews

with Whamisa Nourishing Cream.

If you have read our review about the hydrogels mask then you know already that Whamisa is a brand using fermentation in their products. But what we didn't tell you is that it's also waterless. It means that no purified water is used in their products formulation but botanical plant juices are used instead.

But why is that better?

Because water alone, in most skincare products will likely take up about 70% of the total ingredient leaving no room or little room for the active ingredients.

So using only potent botanical extract as a base will ensure to give you a product that is more intensified and packed with vitamins and antioxidants to nourish, repair and revitalize your skin. In other words, the good ingredients are not diluted in lots of water so they aren't efficient anymore. So a little bit of Whamisa products goes a long way.

The product is suitable for all skin type but recommended for dry and normal skin types.

I have normal to combination skin so I do tend to wake up in the morning feeling "oily" but not since I have started using this cream. It feels very rich and luxurious on your face so a little bit goes a long way and has a pleasant smell. Although I am not a big fan of cream in little jar, it's not really bothering me since the packaging is super cute. I always admire all the flowers drawn on the jar. It's very feminine and has strong organic feel to it. The cream has a very velvety, souffle like consistency so you really won't need a lot. It blends very nicely into the skin and gets absorbed very quickly too.

I use this cream at night combined with Whamisa Water cream in the morning and my skin has never felt more nourished and hydrated. This cream could also be used as a sleeping mask after a light moisturizing lotion but however you use it, you will absolutely love it too especially as part of a skincare layering routine. Big winter essential from us!!
