Often forgotten, a toner is
the secret step to healthy radiant looking skin.
Find out why...
Double or triple tone
Using a toner after cleansing will give the appearance of smaller pores but most importantly it will remove any last residues left on your skin. We like to apply a small amount of toner on a soft cotton pad and gently wipe your face all over. Then second time, pour a small amount in your palms then pat all over face. You can do this up to 7 times for super plumped and hydrated skin, this method is known as the 7 skin method.
Restore your skin pH balance
Our skin is naturally acidic and has a pH balance between 5 and 6. When cleansing, the pH balance of the skin gets disturbed and therefore your skin needs to work harder to restore the balance. That is why using a toner is important as it will help restore that balance quicker.
Prepare skin for the next step
Not only it will make sure your skin is super clean by removing chlorine and minerals present in tap water but it will also add a layer of protection and bind your moisturizer to the skin.
A great way to refresh your skin
You can multi task with your toner: as a mist on the go and feel hydrated all day or in lieu of washing as a first step cleansing.
Know the acids in your toner
Toners containing glycolic acid (AHA) can help prevent ingrown hairs and control sebum production.
Toners containing salicylic acid (BHA) can help acne prone skin.
